Working with Project Life
I've been thinking about starting a Project Life album for a while now. I've been using Project Life cards in my mini albums so why not go one step further. I get to shop for supplies, and more supplies....and begin!
Maybe in 2014 I'll start creating weekly pages. For now I'm just playing.
Here's a few of the pages I finished.

August Creative Dare
The theme for the August Creative Dare is Let it Go. The rules were to use a favorite quote and create a piece in 1.5 hours or less.
A family member is going through drug rehab so I wanted to use a quote that represented what I've been feeling lately...Hope. I know he will have ups and downs but I am hopeful he will be clean in the future. I'm reading 'A Beautiful Boy' by David Sheff and it's helping me understand addiction and the recovery process in a way that makes sense.
I used collage paper from Tangie Baxter, Deco Art paint and Tattered Angel sprays for this piece.

July Creative Dare for Mixed Media Monday
The dare this month was to be inspired by one of Tracy's Mixed Media Monday creations and create a work of our own. I love Tracy's "Flowers of Grace" piece and I actually painted along with her during the show but gessoed over it and started over.
My flowers are a digital design from Trangie Baxter that were printed and cut out. They were enhanced with a white gell pen and Gelatos.

Tsunami Rose Designs - Week 26 Challenge
The challenge this week is color inspiration. I printed and colored one of the digi stamps with water color crayons. The background paper is from the Life Abloom Kit. The page was embellished with ribbon and washi tape.

June Creative Dare
For this months creative dare Tracy listed 4 powerful truths and dared us to create using at least one of them. I chose "You are amazing just the way you are."
Tsunami Rose Challenge
I love working with printable journal papers designed by Daisy Collins. The paper I use for printing is 110lb weight that was purchased at Office Depot. The colors look so vibrant.
I finished binding and decorating the cover of my latest mini book and it is gorgeous!
For the tic tac toe part of the challenge I used black floral ribbon on the spine, a cameo button and flowers for texture.
